It's lookin' good . . .

House update -- we have someone coming back this weekend to look at the house again with her family! I take that as a positive thing!

The girl is single and 21. She said how it's always been her favorite house for years and years, and I told her how when we were looking 6 years ago, when I first saw it, I fell in love with it after seeing 40-some houses. I knew right then and there that it was meant to be mine. She said the same thing! (Yippeee!) She is also coming from an apartment (so no waiting on another house to sell), she said she's been pre-approved for the loan, and she said as she left that she had a lot of phone calls to make tonight!

We also really hit it off because her father is a farmer and I think he knows my dad! She is a farm girl -- like me and from a small town -- like me. I just felt connected with her right away. I want to know and like who we sell the house to. I want to know it's going to a be loved by a good person. I just love our house and we've done so much to it, I have had all my babies here, lost my babies here, we've made so many memories . . . I want someone to live here who I feel will have a great future here, and take care of it like it should be taken care of.

Isn't it funny how things do work out? How you just know when it's meant to happen? How when you have a positive outlook like I did this afternoon, that good things do come about? God is so good. Life is so good.

I know we don't officially have a buyer, but it looks so good, so I just had to post. I hope I'm not jinxing myself, but I have faith, and I think with this, the faith will overcome any silly superstition.

That would be amazing. Can't wait to hear. And you know, even if this isn't it, there will be an "it". God's looking out for you!

Oh, Val! That is SO exciting! I know what you mean about wanting someone that you know will love your house. Isn't God amazing? He sure hasn't sold our house yet, but now that money is becoming a crunch, he has given me a job opportunity at a preschool that will take Libby's age too. So, even when he isn't selling our house, he's still taking care of us financially.
