I have really been stressed out lately with my work (I'm a photographer) and worked all weekend long this past weekend. I needed a break on Sunday afternoon so we drove out to the sunflower fields, not too far from where we live. And of course with camera in hand. Sunflowers . . . flowers for that matter . . . are truly one of God's most wonderful gifts! The view rejuvenated me fully. I could look at that view for forever and ever . . .

Hope you enjoy.

Wow! When we were looking at buying our current lot the field behind us was full of sunflowers. It was gorgeous. Alas, this year they planted canola (also beautiful, but not majestic like sunflowers). Ella planted 2 sunflower seeds in preschool for mother's day and they are absolutely massive now in my garden. Great photos!

Great pictures Val... and I don't even like sunflowers. I wish I did, but I had a very nasty roommate in college who LOVED sunflowers. They remind me of her.. not good memories.

Your pictures have almost changed my mind on sunflowers!!!! :)
