Really do take the time to watch these

The Years Are Short . . . made by Gretchen Rubin. I just recently found her blog called the Happiness Project and it is spectacular. She is writing a book which is to be released late 2009. Check out her video.

Earth Hour 2008 . . . . it's going global . . . let's do it again. Don't forget on March 29th at 8:00 p.m. Turn out your lights for one hour. If you aren't familiar with this, please watch.

PS- that Turn out the Lights thing is being advertised by Jason's company (Leo Burnett). They are doing it all pro bono. Everyone should do it! it is such a cool thing.

Ok...are you trying to make me cry on the eve of Libby's third birthday? If I'm having such a rough time with this one, what am I going to do when she turns 10, then 13, then 16, then...well, you get the point. :) Do you have a rough time with Maia and Noah's birthdays?

Jo, when we were in Chicago, I saw the advertisements all over for lights out. I thought "wow, that is awesome". So cool of Jas's company. That's great.

And Liza, I don't know how I do it. I think it's when their actual birthdays come, I have 3 all in one week. And it's stressful and lots of work and it all happens at once that I don't have time to think about it. It's when I look at my pictures from the past that I get really emotional and sad. But I try to look past that. If I really thought about it more, I would lose it. And there is no stopping time. I wish I could stop it right now. So I just soak up EVERY single moment of my children's lives. I think that's the most important so that when we are older, and they are older, we are able to sit back and think "I did a great job and my children (and I) have the best memories in the world." I know, it's hard. You'll get through . . . xo
