Little joys

Here is a very special little joy and his name is Tristan. Tristan is the newborn son of my friend, Heidi, whom I mentioned in an earlier post last week. We went over to see Tristan and Heidi on Sunday. He is gogeous, but what do you expect with such beautiful people as parents? (I'm not sure Jase would appreciate me calling him beautiful, but anyway . . . ) How lucky I felt to not only hold him for 45 minutes but to also have my picture taken with this little bundle of pure joy.

Mommy & baby are doing very well despite the adjustments any mother endures. Big sister Caleigh is very excited and daddy Jase is as proud as can be.

Remember on the show Big Brother when Jase was wearing a t-shirt that said Caleigh 6? Well, Caleigh is Heidi's daughter's name and 6 is a special number to Heidi and Jase. One meaning of it to them is, a family of 6, which they have always dreamed of. So . . .2 more to go I guess?! Good luck to my dear friends!

Oh, and note to file. Tristan did not come out with sunglasses on. I just had to get that one straight ;c)

It's a BOY!

Heidi was pregnant in this picture. It was Maia & Noah's b-day party and no one knew she was preggie. I should have known because 1) she only drank water at dinner and 2) she never took off her coat! She did call me and told me two days later. :c)

I've been waiting and waiting and can't wait any longer to tell you that my friends, Heidi and Jase (yes, Jase from the TV show, Big Brother) had their baby April 29th! He was 8 lbs, 3 oz and 19.5 inches long. His name is Tristan Russell and is so darn cute. You can see him here. They had no idea what they were having.

And I think Heidi & Jase would both get a kick out of this (I haven't told them this yet), but someone told my hubby jokingly that Tristan was born with sunglasses on! :c) If you know either of them, you know that they wear sunglasses a lot, especially Jase, and with him it's more like all the time!

Anyway, Congrats, guys!!!! Soooo soooo excited for you! Tell me when you want visitors and I'll be there in 5 seconds! :c)
