Cuteness even wins over the competition!

But I'm such a sucker for anything furry and so darn . . . cute!

How could someone not vote for Cute Overload when they have the most adorable photos in the entire world like this little dwarf bunny?! Gosh I love that site. I wish I didn't like it so much so I then I could say "don't vote for Cute Overload!" but I'd be lying if I did. It's such a great site and I think they should win!!

Grandma's Diary is doing so good. We'll never make it to 600+ votes, but heck, we're on page 2 (at the top), #11 out of over 584 blogs! I'd say that's pretty darn fascinating! I think we're up to 57 votes. If we get 2 more votes, we'll either be at the top of page 2 or at the bottom of page 1! I'm just excited that we've done this well. I never ever thought . . .

Yay, grandma! I'm so happy for you and I hope you're smiling down on us from up above!

Speaking of, the diary has gotten really "swell". Today I posted about she and grandpa going on a date with his parents to 2 movies and she quotes something grandpa's daddy said which just made me smile. It's so cute. I'm just waiting for the moment when grandpa finally decides she is the one and proposes to her! I wonder how he does it?! I can't wait till that day come sand I read those words. How . . . cute :c)

Blogger Awards update

I noticed last night when looking over the Blogger Award website that Wil Wheaton's blog was winning in almost every category. It made me a bit furious because it almost seemed like a conspiracy among Star Trekkies (or whatever they're called . . . and fyi, this is nothing against Wil or Star Wars or Trekkies). So I emailed the Blogger Awards and sure enough, others had as well, and they decided that the famous blogs (like Wils) were not giving the small blogs (like mine!) a fair chance. So . . . they took all of Wil's blogs down everywhere except at the Best Celebrity Blog Award. Not that I have any greater chance now, but I am sure dang glad to not see Wil's blog up there on page 1 anymore to be quite frank.

So grandma's chances are definitely up, but I have a long way to go if I want to get anywhere close to Cute Overload or Dooce. I'm just happy to say that we're at the top of page 2 now and if I get just a couple more votes, we'll be at the bottom of page 1!! Yayy! Thanks everyone for your votes. Now carry on . . . ;c)

Movin' on up!

We've made it to page 2 and halfway up on page 2! And that's out of 49 pages of blogs! I doubt we will catch Wil, but I'm still flying on cloud 9. Thanks for the votes. And a special thanks to my SN sisters!

It's time to campaign!

Ok, my competitiveness is really coming out now. I cannot let Wil Wheaton beat me or Cute Overload (even though I do really like that site, but still . . . ) or Dooce (even though I do really like her being such a great funny writer and cool mommy, but still . . .) I WANT TO WIN! Even more so, I WANT GRANDMA TO WIN!! Will all of you . . . my blogging friends and my bloiters PLEASE vote and then campaign for grandma!?! Would you mind to put up a campaign post in lieu of grandma? Please?? Pretty please with a cherry on top? (How can you pass up cherries??)

Also, I know who some of my bloiters are . . . Pat, Martha, Ashley, and there's a lot more (!!) . . . and I know that all of you have not yet voted (because the site tells me who has voted), so . . .
