Court TV called me

I have to post about this. I just received the weirdest call.

It came up "unrestricted" on my phone so I let it go to voice mail. It was a guy named Mark Montgomery from Court TV in Los Angeles. They are doing a documentary on a murder that took place in Decatur a dozen or so years ago. They have some glamour photos of this victim and need to track down the photographer because they want rights to the photo or else they want to pay the photographer to use the photo in their book and on television. He said he knows it's probably a long shot, but he's calling all the photographers in the area in hopes of finding the photographer who photographed (at first I typed "shot" . . . uh, not even funny, is it?!) this woman. I've seen the photographs he is talking about, and no I did not do them. But I am 99% sure she had them done at Glamour Shots, that national chain. Is it still national? Is it still in business? . . . it's not in business in Decatur anymore. Should I call Mr. Montgomery back and tell him I think it was Glamour Shots, or should I just stay out of it? I'd like to help him, but I'd think most people would think to check into Glamour Shots or a place like that, in reference to a photo like this, before they would check into me, right?

Anyway, that was weird. One of the first things he said was "I am contacting you to track down two photos taken of a murder victim" and my heart started racing! Can you imagine! Scary moment there.

Irregardless, I hope he can track the photographer down. Good luck, Mr. Montgomery!
