How to be a professional photographer . . . just like Barbie

First of all, you must look like you're going out on the town. Highlight your hair, pull it back, wear a cute short skirt, tight shirt, and make sure you have worked your buns off to have the best toned body you've ever had and a waist the size of a Dolly Parton (well, or Barbie . . . hehe).

Also, make sure you wear your highest, most uncomfortable heels.

Set up your subject; in this case, triplets. (You know, Barbie can take on anything and everyone, especially when she looks pretty!)

Make sure your camera is at a perfect distance away so that your images will be full-frame.

Tripod needs to be at a good height so not to strain arms or legs. It's okay for the subjects to be uncomfortable, but not the photographer, and especially not Barbie.

It's very important that your camera is centered on your subject(s).

Put the headpiece back on the baby who just threw it off.

Walk to camera.

Photographer (especially Barbie) must stretch arms so not to tire them.

Barbie's subjects should look their best, but Barbie's looks must be up to perfection before any shooting can begin.

Start shooting! If you followed these steps, you should have beautiful pictures, but if not, at least you looked good shooting them. That is ultimately what matters most.

:c)
The End.

Question is, Does Barbie use a Nikon or Canon?;) I hope a Nikon!

Cute Post!

Why yes, a Nikon, of course!! Barbie knows what is coolest, and so she immediately chose the Nikon when she had the choice between the two.

Oh gosh, I don't know what's funnier: the whole photo shoot or Maia's ensemble. SO cute!

I think it is too cute the Maia plays photographer with her Barbie! :)
I'll have to remember Barbie's tips next time I am going to take a couple of pictures, although I don't think I will be able to pull off the short skirt, tight skirt and uber-high heels. :)
I'll leave that to Barbie!

Cait, yeah, Maia is in her coat, which she is like really really attached to. She loves to wear her coat -- all the time! :)

I also forgot to mention the background of this Barbie! It was *my* Christmas present from Heather! She saw it and immediately thought of me (how sweet) and I swear this was my most favorite Christmas gift. I told Heather I was going to actually set Barbie up and have her take pictures of the babies, and she laughed, so I had to do it! And while I did it, Maia got pretty interested. She had a ball setting up a photo shoot with me -- her size! :)

This is so priceless Val! Your little girl walking in mommy's footsteps. She is so cute by the way :)

P.S. I'm glad to be back and making my rounds. I have most definitely missed reading. I know I do need to plan a trip to Chicago to have you do your awesome skills with the girls hehe.
