Wordless Wednesday ~ My Munchkins (and me) in March

I knew that once Easter Sunday came, my kids would not want their pictures taken. I just knew it. And yep, that was the case. So days before Easter I found them happy, carefree and excited about getting their pictures taken. So we quickly did a couple. They sure are growing up.

Boy/girl conversation with the Little Mister

Mommy: (When he came upstairs) Are you being a good boy down there?

Noah: Uh-huh.

Mommy: Is Maia being a good boy?

Noah: Uh-huh. (Then he looks at me like a light bulb went off.) Maia is a girl!

Mommy: Oh. Are you being a good girl?

Noah: I'M A BOY!

Mommy: Is daddy a boy or a girl?

Noah: (Really thinking now.) Daddy is a DADDY!

Mommy: Is mommy a girl or a boy?

Noah: Girl, mommy. (Rolling his eyes, totally annoyed with me now you could tell, and then back downstairs he went.)

I love conversations with him . . . what a joy :c)

A 3-year old photographer and his 7 shirts.

So a few days ago I gave Noah my camera to play with because he really isn't too bad of a photographer at the age of 3. Maybe he'll become the next Ansel Adams? Even better . . . maybe he'll make VWC a family affair and become "famous" (haha, I wish) like his mommy. So here are some of his pictures. And every-so-often he'd ask me to take his picture. Wow, he's really getting into the picture-taking these days, on both ends!

So, I posted a while back about how he dressed himself one day in SEVEN shirts. Well, here they are. Hilarious, eh?

Picture of me . . . a.k.a. mommy.

Noah also took this creative shot of what my dining room table looks like every so often. Mommy's work area. Notice the coffee AND Diet Dr Pepper - both a must on a daily basis!

Lookin' like he just stepped off the football field. I cannot believe he was even able to put on 7 shirts! And he wouldn't take them all off, either, until it was time for jammies!

Mommy and Me

While doing my hair pictures (which has now turned into self-portrait pictures - see below), Noah decided to get in on the fun. He thought mommy was being incredibly silly. So he asked if I would do pictures of both him and I. This is such a rarity because he normally is sooooo camera shy. I rarely get pictures of him posing, or even looking at the camera for that matter. So, I took him up on this offer in a heartbeat despite the fact that he had just played in my makeup and has lipstick all over his face. Gotta love children. Gotta love Noah.
