What a joy to have this on film! Sometimes when I am down or feeling like "I can't" my dad reminds me of things I did when I was young- that at the age I was then, seemed to him to be brave. Its nice to remember those things and remember that we can. When Maia is older you can show her these pictures and remember how fun it was for her to do something all on her own! Not that it all has to be so deep. :)

Wow, isn't it bitter-sweet when they grow? I remember when my oldest was a baby and doing exactly that, sliding down the slide for the first time all by herself. Now she is 11 and full of pre-teen spunk! Oh my goodness!

What cute pictures of a cutie pie! I love the bottom of her little shoes - never seen that before! I remember the first time my grandbaby, when she was 18 months, started crawling UP the slide and coming back down. Fun days. She's heading for kindergarten already.
